Did you know that, according to the 2014 statewide Healthy Youth Survey, 1 in 5 Washington 10th graders reported using marijuana in the past 30 days?  Marijuana can change the way a teen’s mind and body perform, affecting memory, learning, mood, motivation, coordination, and judgment. Check out the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) statewide campaign, to see how our youth can have some fun promoting themselves as “youth who choose not to abuse alcohol and other drugs” and use Facebook and Instagram to do it.



Boat Haven's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Hours Expanded

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility at the Boat Haven has expanded their hours to include the 1st Saturday of each month in addition to its regular weekly Friday hours.  Hours are now:

Fridays and 1st Saturday each month
10:00 – 4:30, closed Noon-12:30
